Spent today reviewing pitch decks and feeling sad about the lack of effort nonprofits put into this.
12 slides& <4mins is all you get, yet nonprofits average 37 pages of word salad hoping people will read it.

I keep coming back to Anand Giridharadas’ book, the pursuaders, after the week we’ve had.
One of the key things I got from it last time I read it was the need to listen, to understand, and to consider the alternative view.
Our tactics need to change, because we’re not persuading enough right now.
