During my session, I shared with the students how being part of a professional society like the Microbiology Society can open doors to networking, career development programs, and funding opportunities, even for undergraduates.

I had the pleasure of speaking at the 2024/2025 Orientation Exercise of the Nigerian Association of Microbiology Students, University of Abuja Chapter about the numerous benefits of joining and publishing with international microbiology societies, particularly the @microbiologysociety.org
