It annoys the hell out of me that you can get pretty much anything these days in the print of the carpet from the Overlook hotel, but the one place selling replicas of Olivia Hussey’s sweater from Black Christmas is shut down. My wife would kill for one.

Went to find a WPHL app, and found it weird that the score on the screen between Toronto and Minn to advertise the app is the same score in their game at this very moment. Spooky.

Today’s sale pick-ups. Unfortunately they were out of the Seven Samurai 4k, so finally bit the bullet on Persona. Been holding off on that one for a 4k announcement, but I’m tired of waiting. Though I’m sure now they’ll announce a 4k in November or December.

Another sale pick up. I love this movie so much and can’t wait to tear through all the features. Haven’t listened to a commentary track in forever but I’ll be listening to this one.

Happy this will be getting a re-release soon. But bummed that this disc isn’t watchable anymore. No anamorphic widescreen, and the image jutters a lot.

Haven’t seen this since I was a kid. Which begs the question, what was I doing watching a movie about incestuous human cat siblings in heat when I was a kid? The 80’s were wild, man. This soundtrack is great, though.

Rewatched last night. I know it pre-dates my move to Austin by about five years, but I don’t know of any other movie that makes me feel as nostalgic as this does.

It’s not Old Dutch, but for a Five Below find I’m stoked. It’s impossible to find All Dressed down here with the exception of Pringles. And those are just….Well they still taste like Pringles.

Finally picked this up and watched again yesterday. So hard not to watch this now and not feel this takes place in the same world the denizens of the Black Lodge reside.
