Any farmers here that don't have back problems? I can't even imagine picking tomatoes with the vines on the ground like that. Its hard enough with them tied up in a tunnel.

Anyone who hasn't done farm work and thinks it's easy wouldn't make it through day one. Go ahead and try to stay hunched over or kneeling down moving around at a fast pace for even one hour. Then think about doing it for at least 10 hours 6 days a week.
Workers are harvesting fennel at an organic farm on CAs Central Coast. How they pack it depends what store or restaurant is going to buy the product. Some days workers need to individually bag the vegetable. Other days they just need to bulk harvest into a box. #WeFeedYou
