Is this why we still don't have Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 2? Which I think most people assumed would include 4, 5 and Peace Walker. Maybe they should make Vol 2 more or a collection of spin off games: Peace Walker, Portable Ops, Acid 1+2, Ghost Babel and Revengeance?

Interesting. I hadn't thought about this. I've been playing and enjoying the game but you are right. We know that she fought as a mercenary in the south, where she learned her craft as a warrior. But why has she decided to come home and get her revenge now? Why not 5 years ago or in 2 years time?

The battle system is a lot of fun, there's plenty to do on the map and the main story gives you a nice loop of trainer battles then a big showdown. Graphics may be bland but the performance is super smooth. All in all I'm enjoying this way more than Scarlett/Violet and maybe even more than Arceus.

I don't need Pokémon to be photo realistic. I think they should lean in the other direction and go for a very stylised cel shaded look - instead we're in a weird uncanny valley of cartoony characters in these odd, very flat looking and sparse 3D worlds.

That was a really interesting observation about Atari already feeling like ancient history by the mid 80s. Even to children who only missed that wave by a year or two.
