Barbra Banda, for the record, has used her football wealth to build a charity in her home country (the first Zambian footballer ever to do so) which funds girls' football teams which also provide their players with education and contraception. She's done more for women's sport than Rowling ever will

Barbra Banda, who scored a hat-trick at the Paris Olympics and has become the second-highest scorer in the United States’ National Women’s Soccer League this season, won the award from a five-player shortlist including Spain’s Aitana Bonmati, winner of the female Ballon d’or.
