Of all the things the Trump administration has done to marginalized groups, this seems relatively minor, but it’s a slow avalanche of decreasing human rights, fear, and dehumanization.

This isn’t just theoretical. My daughter lives in Australia. It’s part of the risk calculation when I plan to visit her.

He “declined to sign” most of the relevant bills, which will then become law in 12 days (unless he vetoes them within that time). At best, he doesn’t want his name on the issue either way, which is such a weaselly thing to do (but predictable). I only mention this because I TIL it.
