Waited on line to vote for the first time in YEARS. I talked to the poll workers and they said I live in the district with the highest turnout in NY state this year. Haven’t felt this kind of voting energy since 2016…but we know how that turned out. Very cautiously optimistic.

Growing up, my mom entertained frequently, so we’d go to a store called Party Themes for supplies. They always had the scariest Halloween masks lining the perimeter, which was terrifying. I would have become a complete hermit of a kid if I had to pass some of the house decorations I see these days.
