Drew some rock studies to improve my environment drawing skills. This practice really helped me understand how to create unique rocks in my artwork. Fun fact: ice is a rock 🧊

My favorite kind of art practice:

Every once in a while I draw some animal studies like these deer. I try different poses and even skeletal references. Makes it easier to draw an animal once you’ve studied the skeleton. What animal should I study next?
