I went down an After Hours rabbit hole last night. Damn. I’d forgotten about the absolutely life threatening crush I had on Katie Willert back in the day (the day being probably mid June, 2016ish).

The last time I went to a food bank the person in line behind me told me I’d ’obviously had enough’ and should let everyone else get some food, too. So I’m really looking forward to having to do that again in the coming weeks, as an even fatter person now.

Sometimes it gets the right leg, but not often. Today while trying to just tidy up a bit, not even anything wild, I felt it starting down the right at the same time. Which is a first. And scary.
That’s kinda it. It hurts, and I’m scared about what that means. So yay.

The major issue I have with my back, aside from the obvious, is that if I don’t pay very close attention and take things SUPER easy, my muscles seize up from lower back down my left leg. This makes getting around every bit as fun and easy as it sounds.

It will never cease to amuse me that so many people my age (for example, me) were taught the lesson of mortality and the frailty of this dream we call living by a cartoon movie about a very fatherly robot who turned into a big red truck.

Extraordinarily corrupt. I watched FCC chair Brendan Carr's full interview on Hannity. Carr basically said straight out that coverage of Trump he deems overly hostile can be decreed contrary to the "public interest," and thus grounds for yanking licenses:

In all the news coming out of Nepal, I'd missed this little gem. Sometimes, kids, violence IS the answer. Especially when that violence is a flying jump-kick.
There's only one way this ends. Every noise and motion against it is simply delaying and exacerbating the inevitable.
Our country has been stolen from us and the only option we have to get it back, the only option we ever had, is to take it. By whatever means necessary.

At worst, it'll be used to discredit and arrest Democrats and other opposition (and while it's totally possible some so persecuted would actually be guilty, this would be a pleasant side effect and absolutely a coincidence).

The only future for the Epstein files: either by coercing Maxwell or by just never letting her see the light of day again, the only list we'll get will be one Trump and/or GOP wrote themselves. AT BEST, it will be used to sweep everything under the rug and get MAGA to drop it.
