There was a backside nude shot of Daryl Hannah. Maybe that is what my parents and the church were guarding me from. Or maybe the idea of interspecies love between a man & fish-woman. I don't know.

...even though family movie night of "Poltergeist" when I was 10 seemed like a good idea to them. So even at 50 now, watching this movie felt taboo to me.
I did like it. It was a little clunky at first. It did pick up. I agree that John Candy was the best part of this movie. (2/3)

The foliage should really pop tomorrow if it didn't do so today in much of southern New England (drive through interior South Shore this afternoon showed lots of color showing up)
