Agreed. This is a waste of taxpayer dollars and a terrible way to manage people.

Assume the threshold is the posted speed limit. The limit is posted, which is the gov’t telling us the threshold. The line has already been drawn at the limit. Any speed above that is fair game. If the threshold is some amount over the limit then we are just setting a new, higher limit.

Presumably the Ford plan means we can use the money from the province to narrow lanes in order to slow traffic and use the freed up space to add bike lanes and make the road safer for all users?
