On the one hand, great to see us near the top of any list. It's got a real NZ mentioned vibe! On the other hand, this proves that these lists really miss the details. Where' the cost of living factor? The attack on our universal health care by the current asshats in govt? The rampant racism? *sigh*

Don't let the ACT party control Parliament.

This bill would guarantee the primacy of private property and impose a regime of “meta regulation” to permanently constrain the ways that any government can regulate. It would institutionalise presumptions of self-regulation, or no regulation at all.

Yes indeed. But apart from getting out the pitch forks, we need an effective means of addressing this inequity. Just trying to tax "net worth" has been tried in several countries, doesn't seem to work, sadly.
