I have this theory about modern sports in general, the Sabres being an illustration of it, and it goes: being an athlete is training non-stop, special diets, strict schedules, watching video, etc. which makes the game itself a small part of the job. So they treat it that way.
Anybody have a theory on why the Sabres turn into wet cardboard cut outs when they play bottom of the league teams? It's a multi year trend so there's gotta be something there

I'm probably going to end up working all weekend. But when Monday arrives I will have finished a huge step in turning my project management department into something that can actually function correctly.
