I imagine the only thing that would ever want to use it would be an RPG. Maybe if Romancing SaGa 4 ever happened they would have gone for it, with how the skill animations in 3 fuck around with SNES visuals

It's a combination of Mode 2 (column scrolling) and Mode 5 (highres), sacrificing a background layer in the process. Modes 2 and 5 were both rarely used in their own right, so it makes sense that developers couldn't come up with any uses for the mode that combines 2 niche features

ohhhhh my gosh. ok, i don't have to use my "noai" hotstring anymore (auto type a bunch of parameters that remove bad sites from searches). i can just block all the sites and never have to deal with them again or with search parameter limits. thank god #duckduckgo

Yeah it's hard to be like "its 100 dollars for hundreds hours!" but how many of those hours are naturalistic and how many of them are perverse retention mechanisms??
The thing is, these 100 hours are inflated by boring game design choices such as resources grind and stuff. They throw repetitive tasks at you to make you keep playing the game. They might seem huge but is it really?

When creating PDFs, avoid using "Print to PDF." A screen reader user may still be able to access the text of PDFs created this way, but heading structure, alternative text, and any other tag structure will be lost. Using "Save As" or "Export" can preserve these tags.

happy to say that with my current arch setup i could probably exclusively use it most days with most of the stuff i had on windows (but there's a few remaining incompatible things like . . maybe aiwanas. and the best version of autohotkey so far is a remake of the 2004 version. damn.)
still getting as much stuff set up on arch linux as i can. it's going well enough but i am largely happy for the absolute wealth of documentation on the arch linux wiki, random guys on stack overflow and other forums, and the fact that people still make guis for things here
