The Department of Labor is blowing those dog whistles really hard with their white supremacist, evangelical extremist imagery, which looks more like religious tracts or 50s propaganda flyers. They're making it clear who THEY think who should be allowed to work.

So I decided to walk around the other end of the Head and look at Bodega Rock, hoping for some Common Murre (although I figure it might be a little early). Problem is, I was viewing through my camera, not binoculars, so not a lot of detail, but seems like no murre, just cormorants and sea lions.

I did get a few pictures of some cormorants on the rock below, but nothing very exciting.

Today I needed more than a timeline cleanse, I needed a spirit cleanse. I headed to Bodega Head to look for whales. I knew a group of 7 northbound were coming (probably juveniles) because they had been logged south of here, but the water was so darn choppy, I wouldn't have seen them anyway.

I have TOO MANY ideas for signage, and a yet blank substrate to paint on. I may be going without, for the first time. I should have started thinking about it sooner. But having a number of bodies at the rally is more important than having a number of signs, so I'll be there.
