When walking around after a case like that, and someone sees you and smiles and then looks down to see you saturated below the knees with blood and their expression turns to horror, it’s fun to wait for them to make eye contact again and say “oh don’t worry, it’s not mine.”

It’s the worst when it soaks all the way through your shoes and squishes around in your socks and between your toes. Ya can’t just clean the shoes with peroxide like a regular blood stain, ya just kinda gotta start all over.
