This article was absolutely terrifying. But it's an accurate example of how many adults approach the world. "My way was good enough for me, so it must be good enough for everyone." No self reflection, testing, or counter examples necessary.

As someone who specializes in real estate and workplaces, their use of the word workplace is also horribly wrong.
They are using "workplace" as shorthand for corporate culture and middle manager convenience. They don't want to say that they see a people problem because it hurts their narrative.

In other words, to acknowledge that ending the shutdown was always completely within their control. All the pain and suffering was 100% caused by Republicans for no reason other than trying to win cheap political points.
