Need to get the engine blog setup for real this summer. Learning a lot and need to brain dump somewhere, especially in this case getting harfbuzz and freetype embedded in the project from source, etc.

I haven’t taken the dive but have been getting linux-curious. Is there a core set of tools (IDE if any, etc.) or specific version of linux you’d recommend for game dev?

Sad I didn’t make it to at least r2 on day 2, but happy with how the weekend went overall. Lim is super fun, and more stoked than ever on the game itself 🎉

I personally think the dev environments, required frequent updates, and app signing and all the cruft that isnt actually making the game is what keeps me away from mobile
