Odds Trump pardons this guy in exchange for some of that laundered money (as a campaign donation or East Wing upgrade donation)? Or maybe pardon him as part of Trump's coordinated effort to declare fraud, embezzlement, corruption, & money laundering essential (& legal) facets of The New Golden Age?

Aside from the verifiable fact that this White House & Dept of Defense have been taking steps for months now consistent with intermediate phase "ratching up" changes absolutely necessary for success of a US constitution-destroying military coup, we don't want our military to act this unlawfully....

47's failure to respect the court ruling (that the Natl Guard siege of DC must end) by waiting until the last second of the absolute compliance deadline means Trump is directly responsible for those Natl Guard members being in the line of fire when they could have been home well before Thanksgiving.

This whole White House-caused fiasco reminds me of the Game of Thrones character Ray who abandoned the soldier's life to join the clergy -- he was so disgusted w/ himself for atrocities he committed under orders, horrors that no law or morality, except unbridled malevolence, would ever countenance.

Everyone should remember Trump DOJ atty Edward Martin's ludicrous investigation into Senator Chuck Schumer's statements re certain SCOTUS Justices & how their personal reputations may be damaged by the way they rule. Attorney Martin interpreted it as the Senator urging people to cause bodily harm.

Here's another example. Check out this NYT article from today. The blurb about the picture asks Trump if Maduro's days as president of Venezuela are numbered. AS IF TRUMP'S DAYS ARENT!!! TRUMP HAS 1172 MORE DAYS UNTIL 1/20/2029 when the US Constitution says he can no longer be President.

The style mavens at YSL seem to have picked their winners in the autocracy v democracy fight. Judging by this YSL ad in today's WaPo, the fascist brutality of Darth Vader's black leather wardrobe is the new "be yourself" individuality.

This is what agreeing to serve in a Grimma Wormtongue type role does to you. Hollows out the soul. Grays the hair. Kills all joy. Replaces those things with dumb fear and heart palpitation horror. I sure hope lawyer wife is having a crisis of conscience because her husband seems to totally immune.

He's lucky the funeral wasn't in Las Vegas, or otherwise he would be guilty of sleeping in public which is punishable with up to 10 days in jail, per today's NYT story about Trump's new "homeless concentration camps" in Utah.

I wonder. Are companies that use their US President father in law's temporary power (placed in his hands by US voters) to win no bid contracts to rebuild in war zones allowed to make money from such activities? someone should ask Dick Cheney. I think he knows the answer.

Senator Hawley grandstands as a concerned public servant worried about how AI might harm children, including sexually. All this while Hawley bends heaven & earth to support the near-elimination of the entire highly trained DOJ team working on active anti child sex-trafficking cases.

Not too many decades ago there was a big surge of numbers in the titles of magazine articles (e.g., Seven Ways to Invest Smartly; 13 Reasons not to Blow Dry Your Hair; etc?). This was based on findings from marketing research. But it can seriously backfire if the author is lazy and forgets to edit.
