Clever octopuses in 'pole position' to dominate planet if humans die out

Never felt older. Just had to explain to my 13 year old what MTV was and how back in the old days (pre TikTok) we used to flick through the channels watching music videos. He didn’t really get it.

It’s been a good weekend for films. Went to see The Long Walk (incredible) and watched Weapons at home (didn’t get the chance to see it in cinema). Both 10/10. Need recommendations for what to watch next 🍿 #stephenking #weaponsmovie #thelongwalk #writingcommunity

Fanad Head Lighthouse staircase. I don’t live in Ireland anymore, so when I’m home I like to make the most of it. Well worth a visit.

Saint Peter’s Tin Church, near Carrickmacross, Monaghan. Built on a rock. Served the local mill, formerly Church of Ireland, deconsecrated 1950’s. Cool place to visit if you are an Irish history buff. Hands down the prettiest church you ever did see.

Saw lots of posts about which authors have you bought five books from. Besides authors my kids like, only F.Scott Fitzgerald. Got these gorgeous Penguin Classics editions a couple of years ago. Have I had the chance to read them? Nope, but I spend a lot of time looking at them 😭😭😭
