After my test shots from a couple days ago, I attempted my first "real" imaging run last night of the nebula complex near the star Alnitak in Orion. This is the end result of 4.5 hours of imaging with the new gear. #Astrophotography

I reshot the Jellyfish a few nights ago with my relatively new ASI2600MM Pro camera and SW Esprit 80ED refractor. One of my favorite targets. Shot in narrowband (Hubble palette) with RGB stars. More info on Astrobin: www.astrobin.com/qtxzxf/

Veil Nebula and Pickering's Triangle

When a star dies, its outer material gets thrown off and can leave behind beautiful structures in the night sky. These gases can go on to produce new stars. The beauty of rebirth.

Shot from my backyard in Somerset UK

Clear skies all!
