*and* it relies upon the developmental presentations of autism because that’s what requires the earliest understanding from parents so the child gets what they need.

so when we discount those presentations or act like those who don’t have them are uniquely oppressed by them is disingenuous.

this is especially important to me while autistic people, both children and adults are such a prominent feature on the list during Disability Day of Mourning.

It’s still legal to torture autistic kids. childhood dx isn’t a privilege.

there’s this growing assumption online that these stereotypes exclusively apply to yt boys.

you’ll find that many autistics who were diagnosed in childhood exhibit these same traits.
