I did a delivery today. Watched @chefisaactoups.bsky.social working his tail off packing bags in the cooler truck for a good 40 minutes while I was waiting for my route to get prepped. He's a real one.

I actively engage and vote but after a point it does all feel just academic. Like I voted in that weird non-election election for that agricultural board or whatever that everyone said was crucial for the future of democracy. Not a peep about that person or board since.
