I think your observations are astute. My wife and I are from the states, but we honeymooned in Ireland. We LOVED the transportation there, but were surprised how many people in Ireland were lackluster about it. For two weeks we took PT all over the island, so we did experience some pain points.

Fight the good fight. It’s so shriveling to see hundreds of acres turn into single family burbs, yet the town dies and the box stores thrive (for the first decade or so). How do we keep doing it wrong??

The hypocrisy is astounding… approve the pipelines, but start a trade war with the country who wants to use them to reach export ports. Hudson Bay would be challenge with considerable risk to wildlife in the event of an accident.

I agree, building the frame of a home isn’t the challenging part of the affordability problem. It also makes things like MEP more complicated to install.
