Reading this, I’m reminded that, in the lead-up to the 1996 Olympics, Atlanta police pre-printed thousands of arrest citations with "homeless" and "African-American"—officers only had to fill in a name.

We worked for 2 years to find a solution after we didn’t get a disaster declaration and the state of Alabama did little to help. We aren’t people who go after federal grants. We are a group of working class folks trying to figure out how to get resources to isolated places. This stops that.
President Trump’s order that all federal climate spending be paused is paralyzing agencies, delaying construction projects and forcing some companies to furlough workers.
