One update - the seasonal hiring is unfrozen!!! The administration had to walk back this immediate threat. Amazing! Thank you to everyone who spoke up for parks. Cuts to probationary staff still have a huge impact on park services = We need you to keep calling.

10% of the US Forest Service staff was also cut: that means no campground crews, no bathroom, trail, or road maintenance, no wildland firefighters. Tell your representative & Brooke Rollins, Trump’s Secretary of Agriculture, to stop gutting the Forest Service.

Our ask? Speak up for public lands! America's parks run on rangers, and by firing them, we're endangering our lands. The NPS is under fire – a rhetorical fire which, left unmanaged, could burn down American’s best idea.
