Fun fact: the "Conformité Européenne" logo, the CE on all electronic products you buy, is awfully close to the "China Export" logo. Only the spacing between the letters is different!

>came before wireless charging
>still infinitely better than wireless charging

Nintendo made a crap ton of bad decisions, but sometimes they'd just make bangers like that. Just pure pragmatical engineering, no need to reinvent the wheel.

Is there a virtue/interest in the JS ecosystem to put broader ranges in package dependencies?

I feel like everyone just puts the latest versions in their deps, rather than "I need this, any of these versions will do" which is what the package.json is *actually* meant for... it's not a lockfile!

oh no, a clownflare product being insufferable, how UNEXPECTED

for real, turnstile is literally insufferable for me and doesn't work more than half the time (or is stupidly slow). happens on multiple devices across multiple networks 🤷‍♀️

Not the same degree of "passion" involved, not the goal/envy to make something hold any quality standard, just "a one time thing"...

It's a weird feeling, doing <something> and seeing a majority of people not having the same commitment to quality...
