And now I think I’ve been watching and reading too much stuff about #heatedrivalry. My algorithms now think I’m a huge hockey fan and want me to buy season tickets 😂

We have come a long way for LGBTQ representation in media! I remember watching that Ellen show and how scandalous that coming out episode was portrayed as in the 90s. Now #heatedrivalry is the top show on @hbomax.bsky.social (it helps that it’s a well-made show!)

Are m/m hockey romances written by women a thing? I read an entirely unrelated series to @heatedrivalry.bsky.social called Him that was also this. Great books! Just interesting! #books #queer

This is a pretty good assessment of how this press secretary actually exacerbates potential crises. #crisiscommunications
An important part of the job for any WH Press Secretary is to clean up remarks made by the president or offer explanation/context or apology when warranted. But Leavitt never does that. She always crafts a response that makes it even worse by adding her own toxic twist.

This is crazy, and these kinds of things undermine legitimate scholarly research.
I’m looking at a specific paper mill in India. So far, I have detected 339 papers, 105 of which were published in 2025. Only the biggest publishers are being targeted. Only two papers have been retracted.
This is the dashboard of a paper mill.

This is clear propaganda meant to prime the audience for persecution of opponents. This admin is engaging in propaganda not public relations, and everyone should understand that propaganda by nature is misinformation. #publicrelations

Academics, who will more likely support progressive causes with theory and data-driven arguments, must be muzzled or lose their jobs.

But churches - most of them supportive of MAGA candidates can give full-throated endorsements and keep their non-profit status.

This is Washington at its worst.

We need to ban Congressional stock trading.

Texas legislators just passed a bill that
gives politically-appointed regents control over faculty curriculum, hiring, & governance. It does what they accuse academics of doing: privileging ideas, biases, & agendas on political grounds, & silencing those that do not follow their ideology.
Political appointees would have more control over Texas universities’ courses and hiring under bill OK’d by House
Senate Bill 37 would give more power to university regents, who are appointed by the governor, to vet and veto new curricula and administrators.
