It really shows the state of the gaming industry when games like Silksong can come out as cheap as it did and AAA developers are panicking because it is “disrupting the gaming industry”. Indie games are coming out so good for so low of a price that it shows where the real value is.

Dude it’s like I turned 33 and my immune system just stopped functioning properly.
I had COVID at 29 and was fine in 3 days. I caught a mild cold 4 days ago and I had to take off sick today due to developing a fucking sinus infection.

Christmas has never been my favorite holiday, but this year especially it’s rough. Mom’s in the hospital, aunts and uncles infighting and this is the first year minus the pandemic we aren’t doing a big gathering.
My wife and I are still trying to make the most of it though. Merry Christmas to all.

Once you realize that your kindness is being taken for granted and you’re being used, you have to be the one to establish boundaries. I made the mistake of not doing that with a friend I gave advice, even money, years back. Now, it’s happening again, but this time I was able to recognize it earlier.
