Second card of the invertebrate tarot set, The Magician!

This project is on hold for a moment while I sort other things out, but I can't resist sharing another peek for #InverteFest
An illustrated card for the tarot's Magician entry. Edges are trimmed in gold deco style with a dark purple background that seems to recede. The top of the card shows a golden figure eight. In the center is a brown snail on a green leaf. The brown banded shell seems to shine, and the eyes of the snail are swollen from the controlling parasite inhabiting them.

Certain types of sea urchins will pick up a shell with their tube feet and ‘wear’ it, with a behavior known as “covering reaction”, mainly because they shy away from light. So aquarium enthusiasts 3D-printed tiny hats and they actually wear them.
