Forgor to share pictures. Had a very good first con experience! Lovely neighbours, a lot of compliments, made back my booth cost and ran out of business cards by day 1. Didn’t manage to break even but now I have Market Knowledge (TM) for next time.

Answering that question made me realise I forgot to share these! I tried oil painting for the first time last year; these are my 2nd and 3rd paintings. The 1st one was a boring and janky still life, so I left it out. 3rd one is also technically incomplete, I missed a spot before I photographed it.

Another feral-ish Gold, but this one's from last week or so. I got possessed to paint him quickly; it's fun to draw him in this state. He's in control of his faculties, not "feral" in the sense of losing it. Just visibly more feral.

Beginnings of an insane endeavour: documenting the markings of every adult amber ducky isopod I have, so I can recognise them individually. Started in November last year.

Life cycle for my aliens, karraguls, from July 2024. Having raised tadpoles now, I might change the larva - I assumed the legs developed from nubs, then grew fingers, but it turns out they grow legs inside their body cavity and then pop them out fully-formed, but tiny!

Jaundice, a verrrry old character. This ref was the first time I’d drawn her in something like 13 years.
Reference sheet for a pale yellow, quadrupedal monster. She has a block shaped head and a leonine body, as well as a long, thick tail that tapers at the end. She has five digits on her front paws and three on her back ones, making them look more like a bird foot. Her ears are thin and pointed, and her eyes have white pupils on black sclera.
