hearing about everything going on in the community i am utterly horrified and disgusted. I am honestly just glad you didnt get bitten in the arse by it. I will never be more disappointed in the actions of grown people for doing things so abhorrent.

behaviour really sounds like the corrosion ate away at the layers under and ruined the board. which would suck because you cant really repair that all too easy. it would add up with all the other problems too. best you could even do is just deoxit everything and pray its just some stubborn corrosion

oh god its one of those where the motherboard is just a glorified "riser" but the computer lives on a thing that slots into it? diabolical

i despise the idea of proton being the future. we shouldnt be giving up so much control to one company that basically just... makes a heavily customised version of wine and thats all. we need more linux ports, proton is just seemingly poisoning devs into not caring, giving valve more control.

very nice find! sometimes these kindsa things are flat out finicky, deoxit the slots and stuff first, reseat the cpu but yeah definitely replace the battery!
