So we were supposed to be in Mexico City this weekend for this year’s Mexotiki but as a furloughed guv employee, we had to cancel. México City has a surprisingly large tiki/surf music/rockabilly/punk scene. This would have been a blast.

From a FB thread a couple months ago. We all know Paul Krueger is a piece of work, but this is beyond the pale. Even the “vehicular” cyclists are calling him out on this.

Tiki Oasis room party. For those who don’t know, the guy playing the uke is Tony Marsico. He has played bass for The Plugz, The Cruzados, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Marianne Faithful, Roger Daltry, The Martini Kings just to name a few. A true musician’s musician.

With all road construction going on along Morena, it forces traffic to go right into the bike lane. My wife and I had a close call as we were heading to The High Dive.
