One rule for car drivers, one rule for people on bikes. No car driver has to physically squeeze through other cars, maybe pick them up, clamber over them so get delayed and maybe miss their train. Surely we want to make it easier, not harder for people to travel sustainably.

It's hardly surprising that when strapped for time some people locked their bikes elsewhere

not a campaign, just a fact. What we want is fewer HGVs and high standards on visibility so they don't have blind spots. Just keeping you on your toes!

Businesses are likely to benefit as HGVs and Delivery Vans will not be held up (they are exempt from the charge)
Other delivery options are available - Oxford has some great cycle couriers.

3) If you're coming from out of town the Park and Ride bus will be free for a trial period. If you choose walking or cycling it will be cheaper than driving.

Walking and cycling will be more pleasant with fewer cars. Taking the bus will be quicker with fewer cars
