In current issue of Private Eye it's claimed British Cycling was warned by UK Sport against accepting Shell's money. UKS held an unscheduled board meeting to discuss the matter, the board expressing "considerable concern about both the nature and structure" of BC's Shell deal.

The default urban speed limit of 20mph in Wales is not popular with drivers according to a recent opinion poll, but they didn't ask what pedestrians & cyclists think about it.

Police on cycle superhighway this am stopping red light jumpers at tower hill. Mostly lime bikes, warnings. A pretty stupid junction to jump a red as you go into a multi lane gyratory. The cs3 light controls that traffic flow.

Thinking that people who cause accidents should pay for NHS treatment via insurance. Free healthcare means people make poor decisions. If you have too many accidents, you will be uninsurable and won't be able to drive. Take responsibility. It's a sensible Tory policy. Better than culture wars

@MikeyCycling @theJeremyVine Reported first driver of 2024 y:day. Undertake/close pass combi in roadworks zone with sign "CYCLISTS DO NOT OVERTAKE". No confrontation, camera was on and mounted where you get full field of vision in 4k. Just made note of time to got home to edit.

I once went to a meeting in Parliament on cs11. Someone there objected despite living 3 miles away having told us where she lived. Karma is a bike locker talking her precious parking space away.
