It was 73 and mostly cloudy today. The air held hints of fall; of sweatshirts and crisp night air. It was a perfect day off.

One of our regular patrons brought gifts for the whole library staff. My heart is full today. It's been a tough week, and this act of thoughtfulness almost brings me to tears.

The hike today had one steep part of the trail that just about killed me, but I persevered, and the top view was worth it!
