Day 1 of training done. It was pretty good, after the first couple of miles my legs started to settle in and breathing evened out. I'm going to try the 19 mile course since this is the first race I've done in like 20+ years. 😄

Cleaned up the fat bike. I did some minor adjustments to get the shifting a bit smoother, added the bags, a light and the Garmin mount but have a lot more to do. I definitely need new tires. I can probably get a few more rides out of them this fall.

My poor peace lilly has been struggling for a while so I thought I'd try a hydro set up for it. I cleaned off all the dirt and was surprised there was no root rot. Added it to the pot along with three granules of Osmocote, supposedly that works great for several months. 🤞🏻#peacelillyinwater

So with #gravelbikes being a thing now and my interest is getting there, I got to thinking about converting my bike to it. It looks like I'd have plenty of clearance for possibly 35-40c tires? At least on the front, the back I'm not so sure. I need to find my calipers and measure. #cycling #bicycle

Years ago I used to be big into cycling, mechanic at our local shop and even raced mountain bikes in the novice category. I dug my road bike out of the garage and need to wash it and do a good tune up on it then get back in the saddle again.

Attempting a recipe. You can change it up and do chicken, just replace the beef & beef broth. Combine and cook for 25 minutes.
Ingredients:
Beef (I used the stir fry cut)
4 cups water
6 cups broth
Sliced carrots
Water chestnuts
Green onions
Celery (chopped)
Bok Choy
Ramen noodles (2 packs)
