Watching Eddington, which is based in May 2020, and I remember vividly what wearing a mask was like, but I forgot that many people were so conspiratorial about COVID, treatments the government and so much more. The movie wasn’t great, but it might be the best movie about every day pandemic life.

Just re-watched the Chase through San Francisco in
The Rock (1996) and wow I don’t think they could remake this scene with practical effects today. So many dangerous crashes and explosions, a couple of continuity issues, but otherwise an intense, masterful chase in a very difficult city to film in.
