EZ1 is 8 years old today O_O That time has flown by! Here's a shot of a new area in c4_1.

EZ1 vorts will now behave like EZ2 vorts. They can dispel and use their homing charge attacks. Their damage has also been tweaked for EZ1's context, to make things fairer for the player. Much needed changes that have a good, noticeable effect on gameplay!

A single simple spooky screenshot today, as work continues in EZ1's massive update. Something new happens in this map which we hope will prompt Bad Cop to head for Pillar 10. Won't spoil it 🤓

My latest prototype / thing. Yet another idea I spent a few days on last week. Fly around, shoot stuff, collect scrap. Weapon system framework is designed so that the game could generate random weapons with random effects on the fly. It's fun.

EZ1 Update Comparison #4 - Before and after - Still WIP but now, Pillar 10 is set as the focal point for this road. These external maps now feature a new skybox with a moving cloud layer. Further contrast tweaks to come. There's a new little area off the beaten track in this map.

EZ1 Update Comparison #2 - An area that needed serious work. The old brushes here with the mis-aligned roof and the lack of variation with materials has bugged me forever! Much better now and using Pillar 10 as a focal point as a bonus.

EZ1 Update Comparison #1 - I gave the train tunnel a massive visual overhaul. All maps are getting this treatment, applying lessons learned from EZ2.
