The seasons don’t just change the weather, they can stir up memories too.
A scent, a sound, the feel of cool air or changes in light, can bring the past rushing back, sometimes with comfort but sometimes painfully too. Therapy can help bring back safety.

I am proud to be disabled!
I can walk, just not far. This doesn't make me less disabled.
I’m proud of my perseverance but also proud of knowing when to rest or ask for help.
I find joy where I can. I roll through life with pride, independence, and purpose — even if it looks different than before.

Do you know which medications can impact the ability to withstand hot weather? Are you aware of groups of people who’s bodies can not tolerate high heat?
I myself have heat intolerance due to an auto-immune condition and have had to creatively adapt in order to keep myself well. See comments.
