I love having backyard fires, especially when spirits or otherworldly beings attempt to communicate through the embers. I’m virtually certain that says “help.”

Thar she blows… it’s seen better days for sure, but my dear mother (gods rest her soul) jumped into action, cleaning every page and ironing them to flatten and dry them.

It was a last minute thing… I was trying to make trees and ran out of time, so ordered these overnight from Amazon. They worked, and served to accentuate the size of the villain

Amusingly enough most of my players used unpainted miniatures until about 3 years into our campaign, when I finally broke down and printed and painted copies for them

Around level 18 of a long-running #dnd campaign I lined up all the NPCs and ran a skill challenge asking players to take action to ensure the safety of the NPCs they cared for most. It was interesting to see their picks and deeply engaging.
