First post on here! Cool evening in Yellowknife tonight
Curacao just qualified for the World Cup! How great is that? They've made a ton of strides in recent years to establish themselves as one of the best Caribbean teams 🇨🇼

Downtown YK needs this project to get across the finish line and this developer took it on when no one else would. There's certainly an element of developer responsibility here but from what we're reading the City's planning department isn't without blame.

I wish someone would ask why the NWT is also abstaining (while the Yukon isn't). Guessing it's to do with shipping costs but I'm dying for better craft beer selection www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Customers in Newfoundland and Labrador are out of luck if they were hoping to buy a specific beer or spirit from another province without having to leave.

Interesting - undeveloped lot at the south end of Twin Pine Hill for sale (and apparently already sold). Noticed the boundary stakes last week but sign just went up today. Curious what the plan is. #Yellowknife

Wrote a dispatch from the US — inspired by how the Western media often covers African, Middle Eastern, and Latin American countries.

What if we wrote about events in Trump’s America in the way that Western media describe African and Middle Eastern countries?

As a Sunderland fan I'm obviously biased, but that game was yet another example of how European sports are a complete different level to North America, due to promotion/relegation vs the franchise model

This guy is just so profoundly unlikeable (among other adjectives) it boggles my mind that he has a chance to be PM in a few weeks.
Poilievre just called CTV News’ Judy Trinh a “protester” because she dared try to ask him a question outside of the incredibly rigid four-questions-no-follow-up process his party has.

Very cool stuff
