They told us who they were and what they were going to do long before the election sadly. They sold voters the illusion of change. They promised climate targets but delivered new runways & Austerity 2.0 the change was back to 2012. A rubbish Cameron & Osborne tribute act. Thatchers Larvae.

cuts.bandcamp.com - I left all the DSP’s. I now actually sell music via Bandcamp. Before my digital & physical sales were non existent. I’d implore any small indie label / DIY artist to do the same. I’ve made the equivalent of 210,000 Spotify streams in revenue since Jan 1st this year alone.

A bigger act of resistance would be to cancel Spotify all together. Absolutely horrendous company. Ek is worth £6bn, more than any musician / artist in history. He ploughs the money made from others into health data and drone warfare.

This literally means I can continue doing it - this was ONLY achieved by binning of Spotify and the likes.

I took all my music down from all streamers 18 months ago. The support I now have via Bandcamp is truly remarkable. I never understood labels or artists doing weekly playlists. It clearly affects sales of their music, both physical & digital.

I deleted my X account. Don’t use FB anymore. Only on here & Insta - took all my music off the streamers - & now sell more records than I ever could have imagined via Bandcamp.

Recently got back my entire cat so could take it all down. At first nothing happened but now there is a steady incline in sales. feels exiting again releasing music for a small growing hardcore base. I will never understand the small labels struggling to recoup but doing weekly playlists.

Took my music down from it 18 months ago. Now have a healthy little community supporting my music via Bandcamp. Never been happier. I never sold anything on Bandcamp prior to that. If you’re a small DIY independent artist / label - you don’t need it. It’s damaging your potential IMHO.
