Sounds like... AB gov creates a wholely owned vehicle to undertake planning/engineering/consultation/right-of-ways/regulatory approvals to de-risk the project, then hands it over to a private entity to build and operate. Tax payer funded "war room" budget ($30M/year), probably.

They're afraid of losing control.

It's time for public demonstrations as a show of support for Forever Canada.

Is it about forcing teachers back to work or HOW they were forced back to work (using tyranical and abusive legislation) and the fact that it does nothing to address core issues such as class size and complexities, or improving the quality of the learning experience?

Can we celebrate this great achievement with a day of public demonstrations across Alberta? You know we want to do more.

Apparently, the cover-up is the scandal. Unfettered visibility to mental erosion is not a scandal since there is full transparency.

Grievance is Alberta's greatest natural resource. If we could apply a royalty charge we could eliminate the deficit.

Very interesting. Theory 1: voters over-confident in their party's ability to manage the trade file (CPC mostly)? Theory 2: Trump's silence (per Smith's request) worked to weaken the appearance of a threat. Theory 3: many low-information voters. Theory 4: all of the above. Weird in any event.

It's not "a pause."

It's a re-pricing of the so-called "reciprocal" tariff for 90 days. (Oprah voice)... everyone gets 10%.

The Trade Deficit Penalty Taxes (aka "reciprocal tariffs") aren't going away unless you eliminate the trade deficit or you remove tariff authorization from the single person whose hunch is irrationally incompetent. More call will embolden his extortion tendencies.

Added risk multiplier: DJT's obsessive prejudice against trade deficits combined with Canadian oil exports to the US being the main reason for the Canada/US trade deficit.

He sees the world through the lens of extortion. Never misses the opportunity for damaging. A broken mind that can never see a "win-win" outcome.
