I had this convo with some friends a while back. They had really internalized whimsy and silly as bad, and I’m such a strong proponent of “I get to decide whether this silly is ridiculous, or if it’s deeply serious.” Being connected with things that bring us joy is revolutionary
we need a new way to be. how do we get there? get a bit more ridiculous.
