while israeli captives get to return to intact homes and cities, any Palestinians that potentially get released will come back to rubble and dead families, more than 2000 family names have been completely wiped off the registry

whatever the bibas family had to endure, the israeli occupation has enacted on thousands of Palestinian families both before and especially after the beginning of the genocide in Gaza, and yet no one is calling for israel to be disarmed

hundreds of Palestinian children are currently held in israeli torture camps, between 2000-2023, more than 12000 children were detained by the occupation, I refuse to empathize with the occupier when no such humanity is extended to Palestinians living under occupation

the vast majority of Palestinian hostages are held without even the pretense of due process, do their families (or what's left of them) not grieve for their return? in fact after 10/7/23 israel abducted thousands of Palestinians from gaza, do people lose their humanity once the fingers lose count?
