Tried Sonia Wong’s (@saltnpepperhere) Dumpling Sauce and instantly understood why people hoard dumplings—it’s all about the sauce. Savoury, umami, spicy, tangy, and just a bit sweet. Dangerously moreish.

Fresh perilla leaves sparked a salad adventure. Used @hettymckinnon’s Cabbage & Pomelo Salad from Tenderheart but improvised with baby spinach + orange. Coconut-peanut crunch, lime, soy, and sesame—bright, spicy, unreal flavour payoff.
