Alphington - on a bus route so school street not possible. Parents in cars as have to get to work after drop off. Regular parking where shouldn't but there are a few cargo bikes and kids on bikes / scooters.

West Exe - shared use pavement from Alphington under subway gets so busy that cycling not possible.

Think how important bikes were in the ET film. The classic image of ET in the bike basket as Elliot cycles along. Images of kids with freedom to move around independently.

These illegal bikes are dangerous on the cycle paths. Often have no lights too.
