Absolutely. Three + coach are from my curling club here in Perth, plus two from Melbourne. They’re doing Australia proud!! Not bad for part time curlers who get the ice once, maybe twice a week!!

Agreed. I liken it to skiing. 20 years ago no one wore them. Now everyone does. Maybe that’s the future of curling, for good reason. Head injuries have never been, nor ever will be ‘cool’! 🤕

An excellent point. The players gripper was definitely worn so a new gripper will be ordered! Guess it starts with the correct equipment in good condition. Grippers wear so quickly, most curlers rarely consider.
